A police tag driver was killed in a hit-and-run crash in Northeast Portland earlier this month

Portland police identified the man on Saturday a man who died in a car crash on Wednesday, November 20, at 13800 Northeast Airport Way.

Police said the driver was Cedric D. Willis, 42, of Vancouver. Excessive speed was a factor in the crash and remains under investigation, police said in a news release.

Officers arrived at the scene around 8:15 p.m. on November 20 and found Willis dead. According to the police, during the accident the car rolled over and went off the road into the parking lot.
