Kelly Khumalo’s sister Zandile denies involvement in Senzo Meyiwa’s death – Radio Nehanda

Zandile Khumalo, sister of songbird Kelly Khumalo, has stated that she was not involved in the murder of her sibling’s former lover, late South African football icon, Senzo Meyiwa.

Meyiwa was fatally shot in the chest when two intruders entered his girlfriend Kelly Khumalo’s family home in Vosloorus in October 2014 while he was relaxing with her and other friends.

Muzikawukhulelwa Sibiya, Bongani Sandiso Ntanzi, Mthobisi Prince Mncube, Mthokoziseni Maphisa and Sifisokuhle Nkani Ntuli will stand trial over the murder of Orlando Pirates and a Bafana Bafana player.

Writing on social media, Zandile stood by her earlier claims that Meyiwa’s murder was orchestrated by his wife.

In a recent interview, the singer expressed her suspicions about Senzo’s wife, Mandisa.

“I was never involved in the planning or planning of Senzo’s murder, if any such thing occurred at all,” she wrote.

“My position has always been clear: mina ukuthi ngisola bani (whom I suspect) and when my suspicions are undoubtedly proven wrong, I will sincerely apologize to her as my suspicions are not personal and do not come from a place of malice, but I just wanted to make sure that the police he will not leave any stone unturned.”

Zandile added that she did not believe her sister was capable of murder.

“Anyone, and I mean anyone, who was involved in planning Senzo’s death; If there was ever an idea, I want them behind bars.

“(I’m only talking about the brain because) I’m 200% sure that those sitting in court are the real killers).

“So whether it is someone unknown to me, a member of my family, or even a member of Senzo’s family, if it is proven beyond a reasonable doubt that he is involved in planning Senzo’s murder, he should be arrested,” she wrote.
