Earl Holliman, ‘The Twilight Zone’ and ‘The Rainmaker’ actor, has died at the age of 96

Earl Holliman, who was best known for his roles in various Western television shows and films including “The Twilight Zone,” “Lady Lady” and “The Rainmaker,” has died. He was 96 years old.

According to his obituarythe legendary actor died on November 25 in Studio City, California. His death was announced by his partner Craig Curtis to Diversity.

“(Earl was) a gracious, sympathetic confidant, a consummate host, a man whose tirelessly positive attitude was evergreen and fueled by a 1,000-watt smile, easy charm and contagious kindness. It was a joy and a privilege to spend time with him, level-headed and compassionate, with a deep sensitivity and a mischievous sense of humor that was belied by his stoicly handsome face.”

A representative for Holliman did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.
