Actor Julien Arnold dies during a performance of ‘A Christmas Carol’ in Canada

The Citadel Theater announced that the remainder of the production of “A Christmas Carol” will be dedicated to his memory.

“Julien’s death is a profound loss to his family, friends, Carol’s band members, Citadel staff and the Edmonton community he loved so much,” the theater said. “His presence brought joy, heart and depth to every role, and his artistic contributions – and big hugs – will be greatly missed.”

According to CBC, there will be some changes to the show’s broadcast schedule due to Arnold’s death, and the theater will be contacting audiences.

A GoFundMe has been set up to support Arnold’s family. As of Friday, about $42,000 had been raised.
