Webster teen arrested for shoplifting at Eastview Mall

Webster, 18, was arrested Friday morning after allegedly shoplifting from a store at Eastview Mall.

Dimitrios Iosifidis-Piccarreto, of Five Mile Line Road, was charged with petit larceny following an investigation by Ontario County sheriff’s deputies. Authorities said the arrest followed an incident at Von Maur at 300 Eastview Mall Drive, where Iosifidis-Piccarreto was accused of stealing merchandise valued at $98.

Officers detained the suspect at the scene and he received a ticket. Iosifidis-Piccarreto is scheduled to appear in Victor Municipal Court at a later date to answer to the charges.

The sheriff’s office did not say whether the stolen items were recovered or provide further details about the circumstances of the theft.
